Warm and fun exceptional service. Wonderful staff (in particular Grace and Emmanuel) led by Denson (manager). Clean and well maintained rooms, hot showers with good water pressure and yummy food - a mixture of local Ugandan foods (chapati, Tilapia, stew, matoke) and Western foods (soups, pasta)- something for everyone. The whole team went above and beyond. From being flexible with dinner timings when we stayed late in town after too much banana gin to picking us up from our Chimp trekking tour when our car was being serviced. A hotel in the middle of a natural reserve. You can see chimps there
Everything was right. Very friendly people. We had a lot of good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve you all the meals at the time you decide. The place is very quiet and you can rest very, very well. You feel as you are in the middle of an african forest, and also you feel at home. Excellent stay
Beds are very comfortable. Room was very clean. Lovely hot showers. All the staff were so helpful especially Emanuel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. Very accommodating if you wanted to change some of the food options. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great experience

The best staff members

Great Location for Kibale Forest National Park!
Great location for Kibale Forest National Park! Lovely accommodations, delicious meals and friendly, helpful staff. Elephants pass by in the evening and water bucks greet you in the morning! Truly a special place. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing experience!

Nice forest visit
Very nice place in nature. Super friendly stuff that helped us with everything and teally made our stay great! The rooms are basic but we had power all day and hot water. I love the cooler temperatures here. We stayed 4 nights and will definitely come back next year.

Clean, Safe lodge
We arrived at the lodge late afternoon and were warmly greeted. The lodge is surrounded by high walls and a secure metal gate offering great security without feeling like you are locked in. The reception, restaurant and bar area is large with comfortable seating and wifi, with an outside area where a fire is lit in the evenings. Our room was lovely with a large shower, and lots of room to unpack and sort out your belongings. The wifi does not reach the room, but it is only a few seconds walk to the public areas, so it was fine. The staff were all very attentive and polite.

Comfortable Oasis in Rural Uganda
Excellent service! Emmanuel was my host and was so helpful. Accomodation is simple, but about the best you can ask for considering the rural area. The bed was large and very comfortable, a must after a demanding day of tracking chimpanzees. The room has a full netted canopy as well, needed for the area's many pests. They even offer a service where they spray down your room and close all the windows while you're at dinner! I left with minimal bites. Staff are warm and the food was delicious.
